Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Danbury, CT

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Connecticut licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in a school setting or with school-aged children preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Ability to support and mentor Clinical Fellows
- Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and scheduling
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to 5th and 6th grade students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student success
- Support Clinical Fellows by sharing knowledge and guidance throughout the contract term
- Attend IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
