Two contract positions are available:
Bartlett Assignment:
- Provide services district-wide
- Serve a diverse caseload of 40 students, including elementary life skills students and middle/high school general education
- Collaborate with educators to tailor support for each student
Troy Assignment:
- Full-time role covering the entire district
- Focused primarily on general education students
- Integral member of the student support team, fostering communication development across the school community
Whether you’re a seasoned SLP or a Clinical Fellow ready to start your career, both districts offer exceptional support, including direct supervision for new graduates.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow ready to obtain it
- Experience in pediatrics and previous work with school-aged children is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Genuine passion for supporting student achievement and inclusion
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Work collaboratively with special education and general education teams
- Provide progress reports and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer support, resources, and education to staff and families
