Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active SLP license for the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly desired
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Prior work with autism spectrum populations is strongly encouraged
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Daily Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in the autism program
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and therapy objectives
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Document treatment outcomes and maintain compliance with school and district standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to team discussions
This assignment is scheduled for full-time hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:40 p.m., providing a consistent routine and the support of an experienced team. By covering this maternity leave, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of care for students and maintaining classroom stability.
