Two Speech-Language Pathologist opportunities are available for the 2026-2027 school year in a supportive educational environment close to Ballwin, MO. If you are passionate about helping students achieve their communication and academic goals, this contract role could be a great fit.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Missouri
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials; school-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEP process, and best practices for implementing IEP goals
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services for students with IEPs
- Create and implement weekly lesson plans targeting individualized IEP goals
- Monitor, measure, and report on student progress toward IEP goals three times annually
- Develop and manage IEP documentation, and serve as case manager for students
- Schedule and facilitate meetings with IEP teams
- Participate actively in Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings, arrival and dismissal routines, district-provided professional development, and other program activities
- Manage a half-day program (AM or PM) with a caseload of up to 45 students
- Take on other duties as assigned to support student and program success
Role Details:
- Contract positions for the 2026-2027 school year
- Part-time hours: 8:45am – 10:45am, Monday – Friday
- Program dates: August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027 (subject to change due to snow days)
- One additional full-time, eight-week opportunity available to cover a maternity leave, beginning November 10, 2026
