School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Ballwin, Missouri
Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this role, you’ll support up to 45 students in a half-day AM/PM program, ensuring they receive specialized instruction aligned with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Your typical workday runs from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. The assignment begins August 17, 2026, and wraps up May 28, 2027 (with some flexibility depending on the school calendar).
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and/or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly serving students with IEPs
- Strong communication skills and confidence serving as a liaison between teachers, families, and service providers
- Ability to develop and implement targeted lesson plans and track individualized progress
- Organizational skills to manage scheduling, meetings, and administrative responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students with IEPs
- Develop, implement, and update lesson plans on a weekly basis
- Focus instruction and interventions on each student's IEP goals
- Report on student goal progress three times throughout the school year
- Actively participate as a case manager by scheduling and facilitating IEP meetings
- Engage in PLC meetings, professional development sessions, arrival/dismissal duties, and collaborate with the district and program staff
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to ensure student success
