School Speech Language Pathologist - Chesterfield, Missouri
Two exciting opportunities await Speech Language Pathologists seeking meaningful contract roles for the 2026-2027 school year. A supportive district near Chesterfield is looking for two dedicated SLPs to join their collaborative team and make a measurable impact on student growth and communication.
The first position is a part-time assignment, with hours from 8:45am to 10:45am, delivering services to a caseload of up to 45 students in a half-day (AM/PM) format. Your work will focus on providing critical speech-language interventions for students with IEPs. The contract runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, contingent on school calendar adjustments.
A second opening is available for a full-time, eight-week maternity leave coverage beginning November 10, 2026. This represents an excellent chance for an SLP seeking a focused, impactful temporary position.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Credentials as an SLP-CCC or eligibility as an SLP-CFY, with school experience preferred
- Expertise in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs for diverse student populations
- Strong organization, time management, and collaborative ability as part of an IEP/PLC team
- Comfortable conducting progress reports and facilitating family/team meetings
- Flexibility to engage in professional development, school-based events, and additional assigned duties
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted SLP services as prescribed in student IEPs
- Develop and adapt weekly lesson plans to meet individualized student needs
- Track and report progress on student goals three times during the school year
- Manage IEP meetings and maintain communication with school staff and families
- Participate in PLC meetings, arrival/dismissal routines, and ongoing professional learning
