Make a significant impact this upcoming school year by supporting students’ communication growth! A local school district is seeking two dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to provide essential services to students, beginning August 17, 2026, and extending through May 28, 2027 (dates may shift slightly with weather closures).
Part-Time School Year Role:
- Hours: 8:45 am – 10:45 am
- Caseload: Up to 45 students; half-day AM/PM program
- Deliver direct speech-language interventions for students with IEPs
- Develop and implement engaging, goal-based lesson plans each week
- Assess and report on student progress toward IEP goals three times annually
- Document and manage IEPs, schedule and lead meetings as case manager
- Participate actively in IEP teams, PLC meetings, arrival/dismissal coverage, and professional development sessions
- Adapt to additional duties as assigned
Maternity Leave Coverage:
- Full-time SLP needed for approximately eight weeks, beginning November 10, 2026
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Experience or practicum in school-based settings highly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP procedures and caseload management
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
