Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Kansas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Prior experience supporting school-based pediatric and adolescent populations preferred
- Proficiency working within low incidence programs is a strong asset
- Collaborative, compassionate, and flexible approach to service delivery
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to high school students, with focus on low incidence disabilities
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and track student progress
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, staff development, and family conferences as needed
