Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current New Mexico licensure for SLP (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially within educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families to ensure student success
- Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and support compliance with all required documentation
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Provide support and education to teachers and caregivers for carryover of strategies
