Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) also welcome
- Previous experience or strong interest in pediatric and/or school-based SLP settings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success
- Provide timely documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer consultation and training for school staff regarding communication disorders and strategies for classroom support
- Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards of practice
