Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or eligibility to obtain
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC’s) or in-process CFY
- Pediatric experience or strong interest in working with school-aged students
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and fellow clinicians
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in diverse educational environments
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and treatment plans
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and advocate for their communication needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and evaluations
- Provide resources and strategies to classroom staff for student inclusion and academic success
