Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in school settings is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Passion for making a positive impact in students’ lives
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support educational goals
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with IDEA and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide support and training for school personnel on communication strategies
