Qualified candidates will have:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or ability to obtain prior to start
- Strong background or keen interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Primary responsibilities include:
- Delivering diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative SLP services to students, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate records in alignment with school policies
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home environments
- Providing training or guidance for educators and families to support language development
