Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Open to SLPs holding the CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not mandatory
What You'll Do:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grades K-12
- Develop and implement targeted therapy interventions tailored to each student's needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, sharing insights for IEP development and academic planning
- Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide regular updates to staff and families
- Offer education and support to teachers and caregivers to enhance classroom integration of therapy goals
- Adapt therapy activities to suit a diverse student population in a supportive school setting
