Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license (Virginia)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Pediatric experience in a school environment highly desirable
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
Credentials/Certifications Required:
- Virginia SLP licensure
- ASHA CCC or in the process of obtaining CFY
Job Details:
- Contract duration: August 2024 start – June 2025 end
- Full-time: 37.5 hours/week, Monday – Friday
- Serving students in Pre-K through middle school age groups
- Manage a caseload of 40–50 students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborative, supportive school team environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, develop IEP goals, and deliver direct therapy
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to implement effective strategies
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive student-centered culture
