Speech Language Pathologist in Georgetown, IN
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. This opportunity focuses on providing direct, in-person support to students during a maternity leave coverage, starting in December and extending through March. With a steady 35 hours per week, you'll have the chance to be part of a collaborative environment committed to student development.
Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid Indiana SLP license
- DOE certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Recent experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff and families
- Ability to adapt to needs of diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals and individualized needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility and ongoing requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to goal-setting and planning
- Document services, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize student success
