Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Valid SLP licensure in California (or eligibility)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with school-aged children (elementary, middle, or high school preferred)
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services, adapting methods to each student’s goals
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and engagement
- Participate in IEP meetings, delivering clear documentation and insights into student development
- Monitor and report progress, adjusting interventions to maximize outcomes
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal requirements
