Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based speech-language pathology
  • Familiarity with Medicaid billing; direct experience preferred
  • Ability to manage and adapt to a growing caseload
  • Skilled in supporting secondary (middle/high school) populations
  • Comfortable working both onsite and via virtual platforms as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools and observation
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech services, monitoring progress to optimize student outcomes
  • Document sessions and progress for IEPs, Medicaid compliance, and school records
  • Collaborate closely with educators, staff, and families to promote student communication success
  • Maintain effective communication with supervisors and participate in team meetings
