Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred, particularly with secondary student populations
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload of approximately 40 students, which may grow over time
- Medicaid billing experience required; proficiency in related documentation is a plus
- Comfortable working on-site, virtually, or in a hybrid arrangement as needed
- Dedication to fostering student growth and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs at middle and high school levels
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Provide direct therapy services, consultation, and support to students, teachers, and families
- Maintain accurate records for Medicaid billing and assist with eligibility documentation as required
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide professional input for student success
- Effectively balance caseload management and compliance with all district/state/federal requirements
