Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Active California SLP license or eligibility for CA licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide direct therapy services individually and in groups, targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social/pragmatic skills
- Monitor student progress, maintain thorough records, and communicate results to multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations to optimize student outcomes
- Engage in ongoing collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students’ success
