Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in school settings is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy to students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student’s success
- Document progress and maintain records in accordance with school and professional requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations tailored to each child’s needs
- Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide resources and strategies to staff and parents to reinforce communication goals
