Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Excellent organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
- Knowledge of IEP process and best practices for therapy in educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of students with a variety of communication challenges
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to create supportive learning environments and implement intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in a timely manner
- Offer consultation and support for classroom staff to promote language-rich settings
