Key Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and educational staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with teachers, families, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation as required by educational standards
  • Offer resources, guidance, and training to staff and family members regarding speech and language development
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support overall student development
  • Provide both direct and consultative speech therapy services in individual and group settings
