Desired Qualifications:

  • Current AL ASHA Certification
  • Eligibility for AL Educator SLP Certification (may begin assignment while this is pending)
  • CCC-SLP credential
  • Experience providing therapy and conducting evaluations in a school-based setting
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload up to 60 students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to diverse student populations, both individually and in groups
  • Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement IEPs and coordinate with multidisciplinary school teams
  • Travel between assigned campuses (Campus assignments may involve splitting your time among two or three schools)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for students
