Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for the state as required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) considered
- Experience working in school environments, particularly with high school-age populations
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- VOCO service experience will not be considered for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, evidence-based speech and language therapy services to high school students
- Develop and implement IEP goals, conduct thorough assessments, and maintain accurate, timely records
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, parents, and special education staff to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and related interdisciplinary team consultations
- Deliver engaging interventions that address receptive and expressive language, articulation, fluency, and pragmatic language needs
- Encourage student participation and track outcomes to ensure measurable progress
