Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Proficiency with evaluation tools and documentation processes
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and IEPs tailored to student needs
  • Deliver therapy services in individual or group sessions
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes in accordance with district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on communication goals and objectives
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of services and student progress
  • Support an inclusive educational atmosphere by addressing both developmental and functional communication needs
