Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff
- Proficiency with evaluation tools and documentation processes
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEPs tailored to student needs
- Deliver therapy services in individual or group sessions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes in accordance with district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on communication goals and objectives
- Maintain timely and accurate records of services and student progress
- Support an inclusive educational atmosphere by addressing both developmental and functional communication needs
