Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP licensure required
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish language skills are an asset
- Must complete or verify fingerprinting through the Texas Education Agency (TEA), which may take up to 10 business days
- Strong communication skills and adaptability for an itinerant schedule across campuses
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in kindergarten through 12th grade
- Supervise SLPAs and manage cases for two school sites, or provide therapy and case management for one assigned campus
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all state and district regulations
- Support diverse student populations and adapt interventions to meet their unique needs
