Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan SLP license (or temporary MI license for CFYs)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; official university transcripts required
- SLP-CCC preferred; strong CFY candidates welcome (preference if supervision already arranged)
- Open to both experienced SLPs and exceptional, self-driven Clinical Fellows
- Prior experience in educational settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Adaptability to urban student needs and resourcefulness in supporting diverse families
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students K-12
- Work collaboratively with school staff to develop and implement IEPs
- Conduct assessments, write progress reports, and consult with teachers and families
- Develop strategies to address challenges faced by urban children
- Participate onsite, with limited remote (VOCO) opportunities for highly qualified candidates
