School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Flint, Michigan

This contract position offers Speech Language Pathologists the opportunity to work with a dynamic student population and collaborate with caring teams dedicated to helping every child succeed. Openings are available for immediate start and run through June 2027.
Licensed, experienced SLPs are encouraged to apply, though strong CF candidates with current temporary licensure and established supervisors will be considered. The ideal fit will bring passion for serving varied student needs and demonstrate cultural awareness relevant to urban school environments. Team members may be working onsite (strongly preferred), but select experienced professionals may be considered for virtual placements.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university (official university transcripts required)
- Current Michigan SLP license (temporary license accepted for CFs)
- Supervision established for Clinical Fellows, if applicable
- Experience or a strong interest in serving K-12 populations
- Working knowledge of challenges affecting urban students and appropriate resources
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students across elementary to high school levels
- Develop and implement individual therapy plans and group interventions
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state requirements
- Provide guidance and support to students, teachers, and parents
Positions require 35 hours per week. Flexibility to cover Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit areas.
