Travel Speech Therapist in Fairfax, SC
A travel opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in South Carolina, serving approximately 40-45 students across one elementary school and two middle schools. This position offers a 30-hour workweek from July 27, 2026, through June 1, 2027, providing comprehensive speech-language services within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group speech-language therapy sessions for students with communication disorders.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to students’ needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with educational and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license in South Carolina.
- Educator Certification in speech-language pathology or related area.
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders or a closely related field.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech therapy techniques and school-based practices.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
Location and Work Details:
- Based in Fairfax, South Carolina.
- Travel assignment involving multiple school sites.
