In this full-time role, you’ll serve one campus, providing speech therapy to 39 students with mild to moderate needs—mainly in the areas of articulation and pragmatics. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (CFs), as district-provided supervision ensures support and growth at every step.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) program or meeting requirements for Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Eligible for local state licensure or certification as required
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Positive attitude toward working with mild to moderate caseloads, focusing on articulation and pragmatics
- Eager to adapt and learn in a new setting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech therapy sessions to a caseload of 39 students
- Document progress, maintain student records, and communicate updates with educational staff and parents
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in meetings and contribute to student IEP development
- Engage with professional supervision and ongoing development opportunities
