School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY)
Location: Canon City, Colorado
We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Canon City, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician or a Clinical Fellow (CF) looking to begin their career in a collaborative school-based environment.
Position Details
- Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY)
- Location: Canon City, CO
- Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week
- Student Population: Preschool
- Caseload: Approximately 35–45 students
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to begin a Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with preschool-aged children
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide therapy services for preschool students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students' IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and support students' communication and developmental success through evidence-based practices.
