Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Completion of an accredited master’s program in Communicative Disorders or a related field
- Eligible for or holds South Carolina educator certification
- Open to ASHA-certified clinicians (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct therapy for approximately 40-45 students, primarily in elementary school, with a small caseload of middle schoolers
- Conduct evaluations and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress
