School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Varnville, South Carolina
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary and middle school student population in Varnville, SC. This role involves delivering specialized speech-language services to approximately 40-45 elementary students and two middle school students, working around 30 hours per week during the 2026-2027 academic year, from July 27, 2026, to June 1, 2027.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations for students
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitoring and documenting student outcomes
- Providing direct therapy services to address speech and language impairments
Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Valid educator certification
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or a related field
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
