School Speech Language Pathologist - Englewood, CO
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in a dynamic educational environment near Englewood, CO. Two positions are available—one providing services to middle school students (15 hours per week) and one serving a center-based SSN program for junior and senior high school students (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday). The assignment starts ASAP and continues through May 27, 2027.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (SLP-CFY) encouraged to apply
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Colorado
- Prior experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy to students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement effective, individualized student treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support personnel to foster student progress
- Document evaluations, intervention goals, and progress reports in accordance with school policies and timelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and other interdisciplinary team activities
