The first opening is a part-time role (15 hours per week) serving middle school students—ideal for practitioners seeking flexibility and a focused caseload. The second is a full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) within a dedicated SSN Center for Jr/Sr School, offering the chance to contribute in a collaborative, student-centered environment.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active or eligible SLP-CCC or CFY licensure
- Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
- Knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborative intervention planning
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Compassion, patience, and creativity in addressing diverse student needs
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop, implement, and track tailored intervention plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student progress
- Maintain detailed, compliant records and progress notes
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families regarding communication strategies
