Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
- Active and valid state licensure or the ability to obtain prior to start
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress toward goals
- Collaborate and consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success in the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for strategies and accommodations
