Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Eligibility for or possession of state licensure as required for school-based practice
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Create therapy plans unique to each student’s needs, documenting progress and outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
  • Deliver both direct and consultative services, adapting to students’ educational goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and legal standards
