Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Eligibility for or possession of state licensure as required for school-based practice
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Create therapy plans unique to each student’s needs, documenting progress and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Deliver both direct and consultative services, adapting to students’ educational goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and legal standards
