School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Englewood, Colorado

This contract-based position offers the chance to serve as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a variety of educational settings in a dynamic, collaborative district near Englewood, Colorado. Deliver impactful services directly onsite in this itinerant role, traveling to multiple campus locations and working with students of diverse backgrounds.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current licensure with the Colorado Department of Education or eligibility to obtain before starting
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- Previous experience working in school-based settings is a plus
- Willingness to mentor Clinical Fellows is welcomed
- Reliable transportation to travel between designated school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver direct therapy for students from preschool through high school with a variety of speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide consultative services to staff and families, offering strategies for language and communication development
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student progress monitoring
