Key Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish skills required to effectively serve a diverse student population
- Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license required before starting
- Experience working within school settings highly preferred
- Openness to mentoring Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Ability to adapt, travel, and manage a caseload across various sites
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language assessment and therapy to students with a range of communication needs
- Collaborate actively with teachers, special education staff, and families to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Work across multiple school locations as an itinerant SLP, supporting students and staff onsite
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and consult as needed to ensure holistic support for all students
- Advocate for inclusive and effective communication supports within the educational environment
