Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license (must be obtained before start date)
  • Bilingual Spanish skills required
  • Prior experience working in school settings preferred
  • Willingness to mentor Clinical Fellows (CFs)
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites within the district
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population, on-site only
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to foster each student’s academic and social success
  • Conduct evaluations, write reports, and maintain accurate documentation according to district and state standards
  • Offer support and guidance to Clinical Fellows as needed
