School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Englewood, Colorado
Seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in a school-based setting to provide essential services to students in the Englewood, CO area. This contract opportunity offers both part-time and full-time options through the end of the school year and requires on-site work across multiple school locations.
Successful applicants must be bilingual in Spanish to effectively support diverse student populations. This itinerant position will require travel between different sites, so adaptability and strong organizational skills are essential. The ideal candidate will hold an active CDE license before their start date and demonstrate a passion for fostering student communication and language abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required
- Current and active CDE license (must be obtained before employment begins)
- SLP-CCC credential or eligibility
- Previous school-based SLP experience is strongly preferred
- Willing to supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Ability to work on-site and travel to various locations as needed
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy for students with communication disorders
- Manage itinerant caseloads efficiently across multiple school sites
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and district requirements
- Provide direct and consultative services to a diverse, multilingual student body
