Key Qualifications:
- Hold Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC) and meet SLP requirements for school-based roles
- Active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) credential required before starting
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
- Previous experience in educational settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable with an itinerant schedule, traveling between sites as needed
- Willing to mentor Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Onsite work only
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy to students ranging from pre-K through high school
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough case documentation and comply with district, state, and federal regulations
- Support students in both individual and group settings, adjusting strategies for cultural and linguistic diversity
- Travel between assigned school locations as needed
