Key Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency required to best serve a diverse student population
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license must be active before start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Willingness to mentor Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged
- Reliable transportation for travel between school sites
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy to students with varied needs
- Completing assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Addressing communication disorders through evidence-based interventions and strategies
- Participating in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
