Key Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency required to best serve a diverse student population
  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license must be active before start date
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Previous experience in school-based settings highly valued
  • Willingness to mentor Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged
  • Reliable transportation for travel between school sites

Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing direct speech and language therapy to students with varied needs
  • Completing assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
  • Addressing communication disorders through evidence-based interventions and strategies
  • Participating in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
