School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Aurora, Colorado

This engaging opportunity, located in the Aurora, CO area, seeks a talented Speech-Language Pathologist to work onsite in an itinerant role, traveling between multiple schools. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available through the end of the school year, allowing you to tailor your commitment to your professional goals.
As a key partner in a diverse school setting, you’ll use your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders. Spanish fluency is required, reflecting the school’s commitment to serving all members of the community. Previous experience in schools is strongly preferred, and candidates must hold or be eligible for an active CDE license at the start of the assignment. New graduates and clinical fellows are encouraged to apply, as mentorship is available.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or eligible Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Willingness to travel to multiple school sites as needed
- Organized, flexible, and compassionate approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Support student achievement through direct and consultative services
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team planning
