This contract-based opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and at least one year of school-based experience. Positioned close to Denver, CO, this onsite-only role focuses on supporting one student’s continued growth and academic success.
What you’ll need:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP licensure in Colorado
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings
- Understanding of IEP development, reviews, and compliance
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative educational environment
Your key responsibilities:
- Deliver 90 minutes of speech therapy services per month to the assigned student, ensuring interventions are engaging and effective
- Complete all required make-up sessions for missed speech services from September and October
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, including the student’s annual review scheduled for April
- Collaborate with school staff and family members to develop best strategies for student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all school-based reporting requirements
