School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Elmwood Park, Illinois

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
- Prior experience providing speech therapy in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services within the elementary school environment
- Maintain detailed session notes, progress monitoring, and compliance with state/school documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Consult and educate school staff and families regarding strategies for supporting student success
