Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Illinois
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY welcome to apply—support available for clinical fellows
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to new environments and swiftly build rapport with educators and young learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations as needed
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with classroom teachers and other school professionals to support student goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Facilitate parent and caregiver communication regarding student needs and progress
- Ensure compliance with all school and district policies, as well as state and federal regulations
