Step into an exciting opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist this summer! Support extended school year (ESY) programming by providing essential speech and language services to students. This contract position is onsite, beginning July 8, with a schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.

Ideal candidates will bring a passion for student growth along with strong clinical and interpersonal skills. Whether you’re a seasoned SLP holding your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate eager to build school-based experience, you’ll be welcomed into a collaborative environment focused on student success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure or eligibility (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY accepted)
  • Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) plans
  • Skilled in conducting assessments, therapy, and documentation for diverse needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for students assigned to ESY
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop effective interventions
  • Maintain accurate records, IEP documentation, and progress reports
  • Create engaging therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs
  • Consult with educational teams on strategies to promote communicative development
