School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Gardiner, Maine

What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Maine
- Experience working in schools, especially at the middle school level, preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Ability to develop rapport with students and staff
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation requirements
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and service teams to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate session notes and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute thoughtful input
- Offer consultative support for staff regarding speech and language needs
- Create an inclusive, encouraging environment where students thrive
