Speech Language Pathologist in Ellsworth, ME

An experienced Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for an Extended School Year (ESY) program beginning July 8th. This is a contract position with a consistent schedule every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, providing essential support to students in a school-based, onsite setting.

Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and certification as an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist)
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential required
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Commitment to fostering student progress and a positive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Collect data, monitor student progress, and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and family members
- Complete required documentation and reports in a timely manner
- Participate in meetings and communicate progress and outcomes to the educational team
