School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Elk River, Minnesota
Make a positive impact supporting students’ communication development in a dynamic educational setting as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. Openings are available for part-time onsite SLPs, including recent graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF). This contract role will span from late August 2026 through early June 2027, providing valuable experience across multiple school sites. You’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to elevate student outcomes.
Candidates will be placed at one of several schools, with placements ranging from 0.3 to 0.7 FTE, ensuring a manageable and rewarding caseload split between elementary and middle school students. Assignments will match your expertise and the district’s needs. A Minnesota SLP license with dual certification is required; only applicants submitting both a resume and license PDF will be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold or eligible for Minnesota SLP license with dual certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome to apply
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services per IEPs
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as an essential team member
- Deliver therapy services across varying age groups and abilities
